We went to the mall yesterday,
and I found this informative picture
in the public bathroom stall.
Because the typical bathroom in an Indonesian home (and much of Asia)
is a porcelon covered hole in the floor,
like this
you can understand WHY there is a need for an instruction sign
in the public bathrooms!
Some public bathrooms include both kinds of toilets.
Whoa to an American who gets only the "hole in the floor".
There is definitely an art to using this successfully!
LOL, Kayla waited 1/2 hour for the western toilet rather than use one of these! I can't get the girls to use them! The real trick is using these in a moving train - been there, done that!
ReplyDeletehaha! When new folks come I say, "This is called a 'squatty potty' and the name gives you the instructions for how to use it." :)
ReplyDeleteThe moving train IS a real challenge! Oh my!
