GARAGE SALE-ING

Who doesn't like to find a bargain?
When we bought our home, we knew we had lots of buying to do to furnish it
and a small budget to work with. What to do?
GO GARAGE SALE-ING!

Step #1
Check out the ads in the paper.

Step #2
Draw off a quick map so you don't waste time
driving around pointlessly.

Step #3
The fun begins! It takes a lot of garage sales to
find the treasures. But we have found many such things with which
to furnish our home and Johnny's workshop. So start going to the ones you've
highlighted. Some will be large, some small, some fantastic, and some a waste of time.
But it's always fun.

April and the girls joined us on one of our garage sale-ing adventures.

For bigger and more valuable items, go to an ESTATE SALE.
These are held in the home of the person getting rid of everything. You walk through the rooms, kitchen, garage, and backyard to find many wonderful
items at good prices. We get email showing pictures of the item.
There will be great furniture, dishes, and all kinds of nice things for sale.
So don't think you can't afford that large piece of furniture or appliance you'd like to have.
Go to a garage or estate sale!
